Dear all,

I recently built one of Chris Macdonalds 12/24dB SV-VCF's (I have another
to build yet) and I wanted to say how pleased I am with it.

The quality of PCB is superb. and the sound from the filter is out of this
world, first time I powered it up, it worked (good build instructions) and
deafened myself and my girlfriend with the feedback (id left the pot full
on).

After recovering and playing with it for a bit Im pleased to say it
sounded superb.. My PPGVCO sounded warm and full through it, much better
(IMO) than the moog24dB filter I had built..
With the Res pot at full wack it overdrives the filter a little, makeing
for some great fun sounds when you apply a quick steep ADSR to it. turn down
the resosnace and it just sounds so warm..

Suffice it to say when I start building my polysynth, this WILL be the VCF
I use.

This is one VCF you MUST have in you modular system.

Just thought you'd all like to know.

  Paul Maddox
