I think there is a Korg pedal phaser that used switched cap techniques.  It 
was part of their "Korg Modular Effects" line from the mid 1980's (plug-in 
effect pedals that mounted into a master unit floor box).  I have schematics 
for it somewhere around here.  I'll look for it and scan it.  

I could be wrong about it using switched caps - it may have been some kind of 
PWM design (like the MXR envelope filter pedal).  I'll let you know after I 
have a chance to look at it.
