Well, me thinks that it is a distinct possibility that Doepfer "thought" 
that the CEM SOUND would be wanted, and for THAT REASON produced the 
module, regardless of the quantity, etc. After all, Studio Electronics has 
plug-in modules featuring the Moog sound, the Oberheim sound, etc...
