Atmel AVR info requested.

Howdy everyone!

A few months back, someone mentioned using the Atmel AVR series in some
of their DIY projects.  I was too busy at the time to check it out, but
now I'm free a bit more, and am thinking about a couple of my own
micro-based designs.

If anyone could point me to that info, or if the person who mentioned it
could email me, I'd greatly appriceate it.  I'd especially like to know
a little more about debugging.  I'm familiar with some other tools for
other processors, and would like to know if the AVR is reasonably
similar when using the ISP modes.
