AW: CEM3340, Doepfer - the final consequence

I just got a response from Doepfer to this letter of mine.
As it was a private response, I will not quote it here.

The contents was about Doepfer also getting encouraging
responses in the like of "keep up the good work and use
up these CEM chips in your great modular synth" (not a
verbal quote, but hitting the point).

I think this sort of short-sighted response is excusable
for a customer, but not for him, Doepfer, who surely knows
that he will decrease the supply of replacement chips for vintage 
synths.

But as he obviously gets such supporting messages, too,
please tell him your opinion if you disagree, and haven't told
him yet.
