Thanx, I,ve allready seen this circuit.

Another idea would be to have rotary switches with more then one turn.
This could be used for capacitor range switching (cold switching of
course).  The working range of an osc can be as large as 1:1_000_000.
But  it will be precise only for a 1:1000 range (good design), so it
may be better to use some parallel caps in order to have always optimum
precision.

The moog oscillators do this.
