Hi Martin,
Using a monolithic dual here helps to cancel out temperature drifts of
offset voltage. The two fet buffer has better linearity and gain of unity.
Added plus of this type of buffer is the faster response, which helps to
make the delays of the discharge circuitry smaller. No feedback -> no
compensation -> faster.
