I'm home

I'm back. I was wrong, I could have stayed a while longer. I got sand
between my toes, I'm a little red and I drank my share of the Atlantic
for the year.

I though I was going to come back empty handed but at the last minute
I found a few goodies that made the trip just that much better. I played
a Korg DS-8 I found in a music shop for about 30 mins. before convincing
myself $225 was too much. I found a ART FXR Elite for $45 not too bad
but I spent my money on a Epiphone Les Paul standard. It's a beautiful
cherry sunburst, I couldn't resist $310 w/hardshell case. It has been played
very little up to now but that's over. I was just about to leave the store and
started playing a strat. The sales guy said "If you are a serious player I've
got a guitar in the back you've got to see, it's beautiful ." He was right.I
spent the next hour setting it up and screaming through a Peavy Bandit
2-12 with "TransTube" technology. It actually sounded pretty tubie to me.
None of that crap clipped transistor guitar sound. Fun fun fun.

Fear not DIYers this ain't just about my new guitar. I did pick up a "new 2 me"
kbd. I thought it was so much fun I made a little demo just for you guys. The
hints are the demo is in real time on one kbd and all the sounds were done
vocally by me. Not enough? OK, it cost me $20. Anybody want to take a
guess?
