Elektor wave folder?

Thierry Rochebois posted an ascii schematic of a Wave wrapper that used only a
single op-amp with passive rectifiers (soft knee). I did a design based on
Thierry's work that uses active rectifiers (hard knee) but uses a quad op-amp. I
posted schematics and simulation runs of both units... If that interests you and
you didn't see them I can re-post them on the list.  The variable parameter in
these designs is just input amplitude... the output level is constant. Multiple
stages are cascaded to "re-wrap" the signal as it gets larger and larger. 6-8
stages will cover input amplitudes up to 10V. Or check out the Serge design
(which I still don't understand...)
