uA726HC update

Here is an update regarding the possible group order of uA726HC.

So far, I've received 6 requests for a total of 24 to 30 units
(actually, it's hard to tell
exactly, coz some orders depend on the price, and I also receive cryptic
messages
such as "I might be interested in a few"...).

I was hoping that it could be easier to make a group order of at least
100 pcs on
a list such as synth-DIY, so that we could get the chip for $29.00 / pc
(which was roughly the price of that thing when it was fully available

well actually cheaper, coz 29 bucks in 99 is cheaper than 29 bucks in
83...).

I must add that I'm not a professional trader, that I won't make any
profit on this
order (if it ever takes place) and that I don't intend to waste too much
of my time
and energy on this...
Therefore, august 8 1999 will be the deadline for sending me order
requests.
If I don't get enough requests by aug 8, I'll just drop the project.

May be I should also post the offer to AH... But I'm afraid to receive
tons
of junk from jerks... What do you guys think ?
