Hi all -

I've got an empty rack case available I don't think I'll ever
use. It has rack ears (and handles), pc board guides, top,
bottom, sides. Both front and back are completely open and have
loads of mounting screw holes.

Hmm... lemme back up and see if I can describe this better.
It's a modular kind of case, in that you buy all these little
parts and can build many different sizes and varieties of case.
For instance, the cross bars (across the front and back) have a
channel where a pre-drilled (and threaded) strip can slide in.
There's strips on the front and back (top and bottom).

Anyway, it's 3U high (approx 5.25"). It's blue and matte
alumninum. Just the top, bottom, and side trim panels are blue.
All the rest is matte aluminum. Oh, and it's about 17" deep.

Finally, and here's the rub: you can't use Fracrak panels with
this because there's a lip on top and bottom. Actually, you
probably could use Fracrak panels, but they wouldn't be
recessed into the front (or back) of the unit. I had thought
about making my own panels and decided 5" panels would work
(with a gap above and/or below).

So, I'm making it available here. Ideally I'd like to trade it
for something nifty, but make me an offer.
