I just built this for my school project synth.
I originally intended to use a microcontroller thingy with
software written by me, inspired by Paul Schreiber's description
of a polyphonic keyboard scanner. But the school teachers are lousy,
they never bought new microcontrollers. So I went with this analog
circuit. No arpeggiator. (darn!)
Anyway, this circuit works good. (I've built three, actually. :-)
