I agree that Pink Floyd isn't Pink Floyd without Waters. But Waters isn't
Pink Floyd either. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Growing
up I was heavily influenced by Gilmour's guitar style. And as jh mentioned,
Wright was quite good at squeezing unearthly sounds out of whatever
he played. I even like Nick Mason's drumming. I miss the band. And I can't
seem to get my fix by listening to either faction. I'm still aching for
more music like "Echos."
