[AH] CV/audio mixer for modular idea

Hi John,

This is a neat idea, I have never really thought of mixing
CV's for music. Have never had a modular obviously but this
thing has reminded me of an experience...

I was working on this research project that involved
a sensor in a gymballed platform that was gyro stabilized. The
sensor was housed inside two balls, one could spin east<>west
and the other, outside the first, north<>south. Add to this three
accelerometers oriented x,y,z and a stupifyingly accurate
resolver (gives voltage representing angle) on each ball.

Everything came out of this in analogue voltages but with
two of the axis the wrong way so we were looking at
DSP chips and digital circuitry trying to figure out the
fastest way to do a two axis rotation. Some bright light
(not me) said "Hey! Its just an inversion of the analogue
voltages!!!" and that was it. Instead of a whole pile of
digital stuff the two axis rotation became a very simple
analogue circuit that switched polarity and mixed voltages.
How fast was it? Well, instantaneous. Try to do that with
digital.

Sorry if I bored anyone but John, your idea would have been
fun to have around then and now.

Isn't analogue cool?

Cheers,
Kenny B.
