Ok, I shoul have answered this earlier. See the page at
http://www.uta.fi/~helin/audiopci.html there's a link
at the end of the page to a japanese page with some schematics.
I think there are problems with master clock, the japanese
boys take the master clock for 22 kHz sample rate, but I would
use the crystal osc on card, and divide it with one stage of
74HC74 (by 2). Though it works until Creative comes
with drivers which use 44k for the synth (CS8402
needs 128 X FS master clock, the AKM451 codec uses 256 X FS).

I don't know what chip the SB128 uses. Here is a page for a SPDIF-out for the SB16.
Maybe you could check if these boards use the same chip - then it should work...
