JP8 quantisation

I don't remember who said it but which revision of the jupiter8 had 
and 14bit adc/dac? Also could someone point out some differences in 
the revisions of the JP8 (DCB etc.)?
Maybe the simplest solution would be to just put new adc/dac 
convertors into an poly analogue synth, and change the rom. I wonder 
how those fader CV's are handeled; I presume the go all through one 
adc, there's a sampling routine and the cpu manages the the output to 
dac. Odd is that the cpu's at that time were very slow and I can't 
imagine how they handeled all the data.

Another thing; the Doepfer A 100 is it worth something? How are those 
new modulars anyway comparable to the old rulers :->?
