I LOVE the MG-1! I can't believe that I sold mine (I had too many synths
at the time, and needed to prove I could sell something near and dear to
me, so I sold it to a friend who had always got nice noises out of the
thing). Great filter, nice "ring mod" for nasty intervals. I like the
polyphony - I have some ideas I came up with on that synth that I can't
play on any other device. Sigh. The lack of mod wheels does kinda blow,
but I still miss the beast. I have a Rogue now, and I'll NEVER part with
that synth - such a nice warm sound. I also really like my Opus 3; it
may just be a string synth/organ with a Moog filter strapped on, but
hey, I like string synths, I like cheesy organs, and I love the Moog
filter!
