DIY convention

Everybody,

    Domestic airfares where I live in Buffalo are outrageous.  It's probably
cheaper to fly round-trip to Europe somewhere on a special deal than to fly
across the state to Albany.  Wherever a get-together is held, Europe or the
west coast, if the locals provide sleeping bag space and some meals, then
maybe more people can afford to fly across the ocean.  The same would be true
for California and the Western Pacific.  How about you guys meeting in
Hawaii?  Also, maybe things will be much less hectic and flights more
available after school starts in the fall.
