Hi Steve and DIY,

I see that M.E.M.E.'s name is being slung around in these quarters.
We do this quite often these days. There are only six of us, so it
is a bit easier to organize but it probably would work with a larger
number as well, as long as one has a place to gather. If equipment
would be involved (which makes it more fun) you probably need a pretty
big place.

By the way, we do, every so often, hook as much of our stuff together
as possible into a large patch - it usually involves mostly sharing
timing pulses.

Now here is a little plug for M.E.M.E. and a hint of things to come:
M.E.M.E. is planning another live gig in Chicago sometime in June
and there are plans in the works for other M.E.M.E. public events,
to which you will all be invited.

On the DIY gathering front: I'd try to attend such an event if it were
held somewhere in or about Chicago or Milwaukee (as would, I suspect,
some of my fellow M.E.M.E. members).
