Synth diy Convention?

Like Gencon! - Ahhh, the carefree, geeky, Dragon magazine days of my youth!

Seriously, I think it would be kind of cool from a look-and-feel
perspective. You could get ideas about how you want to build things, examine
materials, see how different people do different patches, compare hardwired
vs. totally patchable things, etc. To make it more feesable, you might want
to let folks on AH, or rec.m.m.synth in on it.

Unfortunately, I don't know how many people would be willing to travel very
far for it.
