hello
the Amiga and Commodore solutions sound pretty tempting. i will have to keep
my eye open for one. i know of a huge flea market in upstate Pennsylvania
where people still sell old junk like that. might have to make a trip up
there. in the meantime what should i do with this damn Narrator? maybe i'll
just chuck it back into the scrap box where i found it. i kinda liked someones
idea of a midi controlled voice synth.;) i'm way too busy these days i'll have
to wait i guess. thanks. Mike.

I hate to say anything is better but the Commodore Amiga's
speech synth is more versatile.(how's that?) I've got millions
(it seems that way) of mod files and samples. Amiga's should
be cheep these days. Easy midi interface and FREE Bars &
pipes Midi software. A cheep adc and you've got a sampler,
a midi machine, a 4 voice synth and an synthetic speech
source. Best of all the tools needed to build mods and most
any sample you could want are all on the web!
