howdy
Kraftwerk used some funky computer chip voices in some of their songs and i
would like to be able to do something similar. a few years ago somebody gave
me an unopened package from radio shack labeled "voice synthesizer IC set".
the package contains two chips, an SPR016-117 and a SPO256-017. i have
contacted radio shack tech support already and they generously faxed the spec
sheets for these devices but, i was wondering if anybody has any application
examples lying around that they wouldn't mind sharing. i would really like to
be able to use them and i have a good idea of how to hook them up but i would
rather have apps to follow. what if connecting a resistor from pin 6 to ground
keeps it from blowing up,:)i wouldn't know that. as always i greatly
appreciate any and all help. Mike.
BTW the devices are made by General Intrument, and named the Narrator Speech
Processor.
