webring problems

just wanted to let you all know that there is a problem with the webring.
actually it is more of a browser problem. placing the webring controls on a
page with frames creates a very nasty entrapment problem where subsequent
pages get loaded into the frame when you try to navigate to another site with
the controls. i suppose i could rewrite the javascript so it opens a new
browser window but this would create an ugly mess too. i'm sorry but i am
going to have to require that the controls be placed on  a no-frames page. i'm
sorry for the inconvenience. Mike.
