Yet more PPG

Dear all,

  I had a good look at the weekend at my PPG schematics, and infact 
the "wave Ram" is made up of 4164's, these are Dram and as such need 
refreshing, this means that the waves must be generated each time you 
start the PPG, or the wavetables were generated in realtime.. so the 
cassette dump will probably only have info about the settings of the 
synth :-(

  I REALLY wish I could have a chat with Wolfgang Palm for just 5 
minuets to find out HOW he did this thing.... In the meantime I intend 
to plod on with my Morpher for the wavetable module. I also intend to 
do an update to the PPG VCO to give it the 300 waves (4 banks of 75 
probably) used in the waldorf wave (yes I got these aswell).

  So, for the moment, thankyou one and all for your help with this 
subject. My webpage has been updated and by the end of the week 
Modulus 7 will be there along with some samples of my music, There are 
currently links to these but no files yet.

  I also added the Synth-DIY webring thing and removed the frames, In 
the pictures section there are pictures of my modular, and the PPGVCO 
and also Paul Hardings current modular (which kinda makes mine look a 
triffle sad :-( ), well done Paul.
