>I could never figure how to size it to do a 1u 19" panel as I recall.

Right mouse click on the panel area opens a window to select dimensions.
Just fill in the right size for "Höhe" and "Breite". Don't get confused
by the 3 HE and 6 HE stuff on the lower half of the page. This is only
for a certain type of standard system (German version of FracRack ??).
The right boxes to fill in are in the upper half of the window.

For normal rackmount (full 19" width), just select the dimensions from scratch.

You might try "Planfläche". Haven't used it myself yet, but this is to work
into the depth of the panel. Intended for a recessed plane for inserting
nameplates, I guess.

As for shipping costs, well, this is always a problem over the pond.

I just started to ship my CDs without the plasitc box after the high price
for shipping has frightened away some potential US customers. Works
much better now.
But well, no way to reduce the weight of an aluminiop plate ...
