The original circuit is not sooo nonlinear, you have to really overdrive
it. You can use one of the free inverters for more input gain, like
Juergen did it. I added another stage with adjustable dc offset,
so odd/even harmonic content can be changed a bit.

Things get interesting if you lower vdd, first I used a 317 for this, but
now I want to try a simple emitter follower, loaded by the 6 inverters
and maybe a parallel resistor, to keep impedance low. I don't want the
regulator, cause I want to modulate the vdd with audio (!).

But this is off topic here.

Lower the input voltage and see, how things evolve. It's pretty chaotic, then.
Ahhh, don't forget to change the ota supply to -+15V, the bias needs no change. That's the way I did it. I don't know what will happen, if the ota supply
get's too low, the mirrors could stop working...
