Harry (being more specific) Here's a .gif schematic of the "dirty trick"
Funny, when I looked up the schematic, i thought it said -6 volts. (add +15
and -6 and that's death to cmos...) The schematic is so old, the decimal point
has faded almost to oblivion. So when I redrew it, I called it -600mV. This
should last another decade. Any Questions??? harrybissell at netscape.net

Harry, could you please be more specific in your reply (maybe ASCIImatic)?
I think I know what you mean here but when I try to interpret what you
wrote, I see some limitations and/or pitfalls so I'm hoping you can clear
this up. Is there a P5 schematic on the web somewhere that will show me
this?
