One drawback of the TX81z (compared to the DX7) is the lower frequency
limit of an operator in fixed (i.e. keyboard-independent) mode: It is
8Hz for the TX81z, 1Hz for the DX7 etc. and 0Hz for the SY/TG 77/99.
These low frequencies are very useful for a carrier modulated by an
audio-range frequency.
