Well, If the name is indeed Dutch, it should be pronounced as
in 'bow', and the g like in 'Loch'.
Moog is a not a name I ever heard here in the Netherlands, but
(van) Mook or Moock is. The 'k' in Dutch is near to 'g' in English, although 'g' is softer. 'van' means from.
So his full name could have been 'Van Mook'.
And, Mook is a little village south of Nijmegen.
So I indeed think Bob himself was right about this.
Gee, we should have a MiniMoog in the Rijksmuseum of fine arts, here in Holland, next to Rembrand and Van Gogh!
