The range of the CS-80 ribbon varies depending on where you
start the bend. If you start at the left end and bend up, it is exactly
one octave. But if you begin at the right end and bend down, it is
something like eight octaves. On the full downward bend the first
three or so octaves are somewhat linear, about 3/4 of the ribbon.
The last 1/4 drops quickly to below sub-audio. And if you start in
the middle it is a variation of the two(go up about a fifth, down about
three octaves). Very cool!
