Ok ...no joke now...I got that out of my system and I'm ready to loose some
more money. I've got about 12 request for the vco board. I worked it up
today and sent it to the shop. We should have a quote tomorrow sometime.
I'm hoping maybe $10-15 the salesman said maybe. I went with a single vco
per board this makes the boards less expensive and easier to use in a 3 or
more vco system or if you have two already easier to add just one.

It will be a single 1v/oct vco on a 3x4" silk screened, single sided
,solder masked pcb. There are no cut corners. There will be a heater option
for the 3046 expo-converter. If you don't want the heater leave 2 resistors
off the board. There is an option to put a temco under a socketed 3046 (you
would want to tack the corners of the 3046 to the socket) I have modified
the vco, using the LM393 dual comparator to drive the tri-converter. Using
TLO-72s for opamps and a CA3080 sine converter. It still uses the 2N4291 or
92 for the switch, two of them for the sync option.

If you want changes now is the time! I only guarantee to consider your
suggestion. As soon as it goes to production I will accept orders. DO NOT
send any money now, but if you want to say you would like a couple drop me
a line. I will have enough made for everybody that want's them.

I swear I don't make anything on this stuff. It's about as non-profit as it
gets. I'm not even thinking about how much time I have in it, just the
price of the board. We still need 8-12 more orders to go to production, I'm
not willing to loose that much money. It's important to me for this to be a
good product that works as it should.

If you want to get in touch with me on a sequencer board, I'll start a
list. I know it has become quite popular and some of you want these. I am
considering changing the design to use the 16 step 74LS154 instead of a 8
step CD4017 there would also be additional options like up/down sequencing.
Do you want to wait a few weeks for a new design or do it now? Even if I
don't change the basic design I still have to do a new pcb so there will be
a short wait anyway.

Anybody interested in a switchable diode/transistor ladder filter? (thanks
Peter)
