Aye, seconded... AH is the ultimate in high-noise. I was on there for a
month or two before I realized I was getting 90-100 emails a day, 5 of
which would be of interest. While I can safely say I'm hardly the most
competent synth-DIY'er, it feels much closer to home. 

Beyond that, all I'll say about this subject is the relaying of private
email is sorta sketchy in my mind.

Well, people get occaisionally snippy defending their designs, and
sometimes a slip is made and bridges between analysis of somebody elses
design and insulting it. I can see why this happens, but there's no real
need for drawing general conclusions from peoples opinions on synth
construction. (unless they actually ARE a total idiot ;)
