	no, actually, the tx16w is a sampler. AND A SHITTY ONE AT THAT!
you are very limited as to what you can do with the yamaha os. 
the only other os for it is known as typhoon. ive heard great things
about it, but it costs a small fortune.
	 on top of that, you cant find memory for the damn thing anymore. if you
can find it, you pay a few hundred bucks for 1.5 megs. hardly worth it in
my eyes. 

i may seem a bit bitter about this, but i bought mine when i was 15 for
$800.
i was ripped off pretty badly. but i guess thats what i get. i didnt
really know what i was talking about at the time. sorry about this little
tangent...
