Have you considered MOTM (http://www.synthtech.com)? If your goal is
to have a high quality modular without forking over $10k, then I
can't think of a better way. The quality of MOTM modules is fantastic.
The panels and rack mounting have that "US Government Tank" quality.
You can build and purchase as time and money permits. And what you
end up with is something far superior to the old modulars. I even
believe that resale value of MOTM will remain very strong.
