Y-ellow Y'all.
	I've got one of these. I wanna use it because (a) I've got one. (b) I
probably couldn't source anything else quickly. (C) I probably couldn't
afford it even if I could. (d) I need an A-D with a 16 channel input MUX on
it.

My question is. Is there a pin for pin or close compatible part currently
available which I could later substitute if the design goes ballistic?

Yes I could probably use an external MUX or something but I don't have one.
I need to know that there'll be a minimum of hardware/software re-shuffling
required if this unit were to see light of day. Ironically it's only so
that I can read in a VU meter.
