Source for CA3280

DIYers,
	I've been contemplating building Don Tillman's interpolating scanner at
some time in the future.  Unfortunately I can't find a source of CA3280s
other than DigiKey who want more than $4 each (seems about 2x to high).
Does anyone know of another mail order place or store in Silicon Valley
(Don?) which carries these chips?  I've been successful in collecting almost
every other part I'll ever need in the local surplus places, but this one
has eluded me.  I'm tempted to modify the design to use 13600/700
instead--comments?
