1496 ring modulator

As soon as I found a source for the 1496 I built
a new ring modulator. This is much better than
my simple transistor rm. The chip is available
from jdr for $0.59 LM1469 ( they sent me
mc1496s ) see the earlier post.

btw they also have LM3900 for $0.49 I left it off the
list.

I was going to do the sonicV or the Sys100 rm
but I like my version better...

The sample was done with a keyboard connected
to the input and a tri-oscillator connected to the
modulator input.

The sample starts with an open mic so you can
hear the null scheme at work. I connect the source
then disconnect. I then sampled the arpeggio going
through the rm with no mod, connecting the mod
as it runs. I cranked the freq on the tri-osc from about
80 to 65hz back and forth then up to about 90hz.
Never changing the source arpeggio.
