8748's need a good home

    All on list:

        I have a box of 8748, Intel and NEC that need a kind loving
home.  Otherwise, they go to the land fill.  The condition of the chips
is unknown.  They originally were obtained by a friend of mine from DMA
systems, he finally gave me the junk, where it has sat around for about
10 years.  I filtered out just the 8748's (plus a few assorted 8039's
and a few other intel parts).  They feel like they weigh in at a couple
of pounds.

    They are "free", but there are a few catches.  I have no tubes to
ship them in.  I would probably put them in a metalized bag, wrap in
bubble pack, stuff in into a box, and ship it off via UPS.  Who ever
gets them I would hope would mail back enough to cover shipping.  I
cannot guarantee that any of these chips will work.  But, if you are
into programming 8748's, what a bargain.
