I got all of my 3046s they were rca ca3046 plastic. 
There used to be a surplus guy who sold lm3045
ceramics for a buck. I wish I had more of those..

Anyway these jdr guys have good prices on a lot
of diy stuff. Best of all they have the iron-on art 
transfer paper. 10 8.5 x 11 sheets for $27.99 jdr
# TTS 10. This is cool stuff just laser-print or 
photocopy your board art and then iron it on
any piece of untreated pcb stock!! and etch. 
Great for one off things.. perfect for us.
