Roland EV-5 pedal /Convert an Ernie Ball

I bought an Ernie Ball pedal for approx. the same price as the EV-5.  As
stated before, there's absolutely no comparision in quality - the EB pedal
is built like a tank, the EV-5 is cheap plastic.   The newer EB pedal  uses
PEC pots - You can buy one of these with the correct impedance (10K I
think) from a place in either Vancouver or Toronto called ElectroSonic for
about $6.    They're great mil spec pots.  Replace the high impedance pot
in the pedal and presto - you have an awesome expression pedal for approx.
the same price as an EV-5
