I'd really appreciate the opportunity to get good quality PCBs of some of the
projects mentioned here on DIY (especially Joachim Verghese's dual mode ARP
VCF 40235, and Jurgen Habile's Interpolating Scanner -- anybody else?). These
projects, and others like them, would be too difficult for me etch, and
probably wouldn't generate enough interest to warrant a kit of their own.
Maybe some of us could pool our money, and have some PCBs made up; JV's 40235
double sided PCB layout is already available on his website!
The other area that could use some level of standardization is the front
panel. I find the Fracrack OK for LFO and simple mixer panels, but I think
that the MOTM 5U panel is a better size for VCOs and VCFs. It would be really
nice if someone could make and paint front panels based on these two modular
sizes and the standard rack sizes to order.
Just a thought.
