"DIY" standards ???

Consider me interested!
I had flirted with digital for a while but recently ordered a full
reprint of Electronotes and am planning to build a largish system.
Having some kinds of standards and being able to share the design
efforts would be really wonderful
An added plus is that we could get decent deals on knobs and post and
jacks - group purchases...
