Something (not) worth looking at...

I've asked about things like this.  I've had so much fun with PLDs I keep
hoping that something like this will come out in analog, but the analog IC
designers tell me that many people have tried this and all have failed,
since the noise from having all those analog components so close to one
another completely swamps whatever circuit you're trying to make.  This
sounds like the name of the Motorola device that was cancelled last year.
We use DSPs for making modems, not something like this.
