Another update

Well guys, I've nearly finished moving (what a pain!). Just before I
started with the heavies I got my first VCO board finished and running.
I tell you what, it's a great feeling to know that something didn't get
kludged along the way! Even so, there was a small insignificant problem
to deal with, fortunately nothing that involved trace cutting!
Anyway, hopefully as soon as I get stuff semi-unpacked, I'll pop this
guy into the oven and do some frequency/temperature testing. I will, of
course, let you guys know of my successes or failures.
Also, I've already had one person ask if these boards would be
available for purchase. To be honest, I doubt that anyone would really
want to pay for these as my cost is fairly high. I did not choose to use
cheap parts. Instead I went with high quality parts. High quality =
expensive. While I haven't done a full cost analysis (I'm almost afraid
to!), I imagine that I'd be looking at around $35-45 in just parts!
However, if this doesn't scare you off...I will most likely have 5 or
6 boards that would be available pre-assembled (no kits). If you are
interested, just send me a line and I'll keep you updated on my progress.
In the meantime...it's back to moving. :P

   Tony
