NE570 book from Midwest Analog Products

Bought it & read it.....
I liked it, always had trouble understanding the Signetics data
sheets and application notes on this and the NE572.
Not a big book, but every word is hammered on the anvil of truth.
Wish i'd had it a couple of years ago, but at least I have it now.
Includes ckt for envelope follower using the full wave rectifier in 
both halves, to give a ripple freq equal to 4 times the original signal.
Also, astonishingly enough, shows how to replace internal op amp by an
external one with better specs.
A movie would have to be pretty good to be more worth seeing than this!

Something not addressed is whether you can use steering diodes to give
unequal attack/decay times. Anyone?
