The unofficial synth diy archive is now updated.

Finally I made it!

http://www.evenfall.com/diy/archive/index.html

It contains the mail traffic from 1995-1997 now, and all the links that
where mentioned up to 1996. Links from 1997 are still to be collected,
work in progress.

If you feel, that something is missing (which is possible), give me notice
(and send the missing part).

I've tryed to put the links into three categories:
diyers: people that have build a system and show this
usefull: things/links you might need for synth diy
related: unclear or difficult to decide or far away

If you feel that I've placed you wrong, well give me a mail.

As you`ll notice, the mail traffic has increased from year to year.
This and the fact that every mail tool seems to use it's own format
made things more and more difficult. The little program to extract the
mail information had to be adapted serveral times, because of unexpected
crashes. But it is worth the labour, because extraction already saves
30% of storage.

1998 has to be done, as well as the links 1997-1998. So no way of
providing a search tool yet. I plan to have a simple search program in
the future, the c code will be made available then.

It would be nice to have people that compile and test this code on
their machine, so we could provide a search tool for WIN95, maybe DOS,
Atari-TOS, MAC-OS, and SUN-Solaris and Amiga.

I'd like to thank all the people who helped me.

Have fun!
