New idea for a Shepard Function Generator....

You may already be aware of this due to the excellent help found on the
SYNTH-DIY network, but here it is anyway . . . (I think someone mention
this a few days ago.)
There is a Shepard Function Generator circuit outlined with text help
made back in the 80's by the guy, who as far as I know, named it the
Shepard Function Generator after Roger N. Shepard and a programmer named
Max Matthews. This 'GUY' was John Simonton of PAiA who published it in a
copy of 'POLYPHONY' in February of 1983.
This circuit is very open in that you may use it to control oscillators
& amplifiers or any other sound modifying devices that use a CV. The
'STEPPING' effect may bother you, but I am sure a glide circuit could be
used. There may even be a better way to smooth out the stepping
response.
Anyway, I think this is a good design that uses analog circuitry instead
of MIDI or any other computer control to derive the 'Barber-Pole' effect
from a stand alone unit.

Check it out if you haven't already.
