AW: alpha dials and inc/dec buttons

Hallo!

I plan to use both incremental encoders and absolute encoders made by
BOURNS.
The absolute version has 128 positions in gray code format. A simple eprom
or software 
in a microcontroller converts it to binary format from 0 to 127. The model
is ACE128.
The incremental version gives two 90 degrees shiftet signals. By the means
of a portpin
and an interrupt pin I can count up and down (the phase of the two signal
gives you also
the dialing direction).

I want to use these dials in an 8051 development system that communicates
with
an EZKIT-Lite-DSP-Board freom Analog Devices. I want to program an analog
synth
emulator.
