I've been thinking about using the 2164 for VCOs and
VCFs since they first put the data sheet up, and I've
been wondering about using the mode pin (sets mode
to class A or class B) to sense the temperature of
the device - it's a PN junction to ground - and heat
the chip with a closely thermally coupled resistor.
There would be a significant thermal lag, but is may
be posible to make it stabilise.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier for these? Maplin
and Farnell don't have them.
