Very different stuff. Actually a multi keyboard (brass, strings), the
synth section differs from your usual polysynth.
Pro's:
* Linear VCOs, i.e. very nice beat frequencies in the bass range.
* Excellent keyboard action - similar to the famous CX-3.
* An extra envelope that will trigger when you press more than
N keys at once, N being selectable with a rotary switch. Very
useful !
Con's:
* These cheap Korg VCAs that make everything a little noisy.
This is sad, because it with quiet VCAs, this could have been
the polysynth with the most massive bass ever.
* Limited VCO modulation. This is the downside of the linear
VCOs and shared expo converter. Not your choice for weird
modulation stuff.
